"God will make a way where there seems to be no way,

He works in ways we cannot see,

He will make a way for me . . ."

Students joined in singing with our Praise and Worship Team as we led the singing for the evening youth gathering.Wednesday evenings, from 9 to 10:00 PM Christian Endeavor (CE) meets.CE is the high school youth group for Kodaikanal International School.Primarily non-Christian students attend this Christian event.Students like to get out of the dormitories and meet with their friends at CE.There is an average of 40 students who come to the event and it's a good time to present God's word through singing, devotions and activities to touch their minds and hearts. One of these activities was having the kids move into groups and discuss a topic for a short time and then move on to another group for another topic. The topics ranged from favorite color to favorite bible verse. We had enough adults around to be involved in most of the groups. When it came to the favorite bible verse, most kids got stuck. But, as they stretched their memories, many could say parts of verses and wondered what book and chapter it was from."For everything there is a season….", "For God so loved……", "He leads me to green fields…","Eagle wings…"Dave was glad to be able to help the students match a phrase with its location in the Bible so they could read the whole verse and also share one of his favorite verses.A girl named Leeza, from a Hindu family, said in a sad tone that she doesn't have a Bible to read.Even though few of these kids own a Bible, they have heard and read the Word and have bits of it stored in their minds. Here at our school we also have a chance to share the Good News of Jesus Christ in religious education classes, school assemblies and a weekly devotion time in each of the dorms.

The theme for the World Mission Offering this year is Share Jesus.Living in a country where Christians are in the minority and laws are being made to try to keep it that way, we have to trust that God will make a way for us to share our faith.Last week as Betsy counseled a student going through a particularly difficult time in his life, he asked her, "Why do you care even care about me?"She was able to share that her caring was just a small demonstration of how much Jesus loves and cares for him.We are grateful that your prayers and financial support that allows us to minister in Kodaikanal, India and to Share Jesus with the students of Kodaikanal International School. Please pray that the love of Jesus Christ reaches all who participate in the CE evenings and the other Christian programs of the school.Be a partner in International Ministries' effort to Share Jesus by giving generously to the World Mission Offering.

Thank you for your prayers and support,

David and Betsy Perkins
