Dear Friends,

Thank you for your prayers for us, and for your support of our ministry. Before we came back to the US last summer for our one-year assignment here, we asked you to keep us, and especially our children in your prayers.The Lord continues to bless us, and our first 6 months have been good. Our children have adjusted well to life here. Coming back to the US after so long overseas, the needs of our children were one of our great concerns, and we want to thank you for your prayers.

We give thanks for all who have given to the World Mission Offering.One of the themes that we have been sharing this year, is that we are "Fellow Workers."Those are the words of the apostle Paul, and that is how we feel about our relationship with you."Fellow Workers" in mission work in Japan.Thank you for being a part of our work.

Of course we are keeping in touch with the Nishi Okamoto Church in Kobe, Japan while we are here in the US.The Lord continues to bless the ministry of the church.This past summer at their Vacation Bible Club, they had 80 children attend.A group from the church plans to visit us here in the US, and we ask that you will keep them in your prayers as they prepare to come.Not everyone in the group will be Christians, so pray with us that this trip might have a great impact on everyone who comes.Pray also as they share their testimonies that it might have a great impact on everyone who hears.
