Noviembre es el mes de Acción de Gracias y las familias de Lorca tienen mucho por lo que estar agradecidas. Vuestras ofrendas a OGHS-Spain Relief permitieron que completaran el semisótano donde ya han tenido sus cultos.
     Así se veía el semisótano tras los terremotos del 11 de mayo. Esta área de la construcción no sufrió daños de los temblores de 4.5 y 5.2. Por ello decidieron trabajar aquí primero para tener un lugar de reunión para sus cultos. Los fondos de emergencia enviados por ABC, junto a ofrendas de organizaciones hermanas, permitieron terminarlo antes del otoño.
     Afortunadamente hay muchas personas que ofrecieron su tiempo y talentos para avanzar en la construcción de la iglesia. “Tod@s a bordo”. Tod@s han sido diligentes y dispuestos a servir donde hace falta para acortar el tiempo necesario para completar la construcción. Han sido buen@s mayordom@s de los recursos y cuidados@s de usar materiales que les aseguren durabilidad y seguridad. A la vez que han estado atendiendo la construcción, la congregación ha seguido sirviendo a la comunidad, compartiendo de las provisiones que las iglesias les siguen enviando.
     Tener recursos limitados y ser buen@s administrador@s no implica que haya que sacrificar el buen gusto. Nuestr@s herman@s en Lorca se han esforzado mucho para tener un semisótano acogedor que invita a la adoración y alabanza del Señor, dador de toda buena dádiva. Hay espacio para tener 100 personas. Oremos por quienes llegarán…
     Qué gozo tener el primer culto en su nuevo lugar de adoración… El domingo, 9 de octubre de 2011, la IEB de Lorca se reunión en su semisótano. Lleno total de voces agradecidas alabando al YWHW Jireh…
     La IEB de Lorca y nosotros, vuestra familia misionera en España, les decimos con el corazón M U C H A S   G R A C I A S. Que el Señor os bendiga por la fidelidad y generosidad a ell@s. Pero como verán, falta mucho por hacer para reconstruir la nave principal del templo que quedó muy afectada. La OGHS-Spain Relief sigue abierta para recibir tu generosidad.

November is our month of Thanksgiving and our families in Lorca have a lot to be thankful for. Your OGHS-Spain Relief gifts made it possible for them to complete the basement where they are already having their services.
     This is how the basement looked after the earthquakes of May 11th. This area of the construction did not experience any damage due to the 4.5 and 5.2 tremors. Hence, the congregation decided to work here first to have a place for their services and meetings. The emergency relief funds that our ABC-USA/PR sent, along with contributions from other sister organizations, made it possible to be ready before the weather changed.
     Fortunately, there are many who are offering their time and skills to further the construction of the church. “All hands on deck”. All have been diligent and willing to serve as needed to shorten the time required to complete the construction. They have been good stewards with the resources yet careful to use the materials that will ensure them durability and safety. While taking care of the construction, the congregation has continued their service to the community, sharing the supplies other churches continue to provide them.
     Having limited resources and being good stewards does not imply a need to sacrifice good taste! Our brothers and sisters in Lorca have worked hard to have a very inviting basement that provides warmth to those who come to worship and praise the Lord, the giver of all things. There is space for an attendance of 100 people. Pray for those who are yet to come…
     What a joy to have the first service in their new place of worship… On Sunday, October 9th, 2011, the FBC of Lorca met in their new accommodations with a full house of grateful voices praising our YWHW Jireh…
     The FBC of Lorca and we, your missionary family in Spain, just say M U C H A S   G R A C I A S. May the Lord bless you for your faithfulness and generosity to these.
