His Word
His Word
We are now
in the fund raising process of our preparation before being appointed to
Macau. In addition to seeking speaking
opportunities to share our call, we are focusing on studying the Word,
meditating and teaching. Years ago I
read a book about God's working with people’s hearts during the time of
waiting. Examples are Moses’ 40 years in
exile, David's being in the fields as a shepherd before becoming a king and
Jesus’ 40 days in the desert. Using them
as an example, my recent weekly routine is to attend several Bible study groups
and feed daily on His word, my spiritual bread.
The Lord is richly blessing me and has
enormously touched my heart, molding me for His use. Each time I am touched by His word, I
gratefully pray, “You are the potter, I am the clay. Thank Lord. You are so
good to me.”
This
year, the subject of study at Bible Study Fellowship (BSF) is the Acts of the
Apostles. A few weeks ago at BSF after
my group discussion, the leader prayed for us to continue in daily Bible study
and to focus upon the Lord. Nevertheless, I was still anxious about
the vision trip to Macau, February 27 to March 5. In BSF after
the group discussion, we went to the lecture session. The lecture leader opened his talk with “Do
not be afraid; keep on speaking, do not be silent. For I am with you …” (Acts
18:9-10). His word strengthened me once
more.
We would
like to thank for your prayers, financial support, encouragement and especially
partnering with us for His Holy work.
Please continue to pray that the Lord prepares our hearts for the vision
trip to Macau.
