The water filtration bucket mission project for 2012 was successfully funded thanks to you! I really appreciate all your efforts from both individuals and families. Your generosity made it possible to provide filtration buckets to 200 families.
Each 5 gallon water filtration bucket is made of clay, silver and other ingredients. They are a blessing to many Dominican and Haitian families here in the Dominican Republic. Filtered water makes it possible for families with a history of frequent sickness to now be healthy.
Families like the one shown in these photos – Doña Olga and her 3 granddaughters, or Maria and Alicia’s family, along with nearly two hundred others got their filters, and their lives have changed. Money is saved because they don’t have to purchase water anymore. The filters remove parasites like Cholera, E-coli, Gardia, etc. “It has been a real relief” says Doña Olga.
Once again, many thanks for your generous support of this project in 2012. We will continue the project into 2013 to help hundreds more families with the pure water clay filters and buckets.
