After the Pikes Peak adventure and training in Colorado, we were on the road again.  We have driven almost 6,000 miles since then.   Most of the time, it seems like we were on I-70 or McDonalds.  We went to visit a church in Indiana, back to visit two churches in Ohio, and then we went to Valley Forge for orientation.  After orientation we drove from Pennsylvania to Illinois.  It was our first time stay in a “five stars hotel” (a parsonage) at the church site in Hillsboro.   Then we came back to visit churches in West Virginia and Ohio.
On our way to the Mission Summit at Overland Park, Kansas, we went to visit a church in Great Bend, Kansas.  While we traveled to Great Bend, the Lord brought to our attention a huge wide field of ripe, golden-colored wheat, a visual reality of our mission.  “I tell you, open your eyes and look at the fields! They are ripe for harvest.”  John 4:35b.   "Our God of Grace often gives us a second chance, but there is no second chance to harvest a ripe crop." — Kurt von Schleicher.
When we arrived at Overland Park, we joined the International Ministries’ staff and missionaries to assemble a huge “Caravan” at the conference center.  It was a model, 70' long and 13' wide, of the ship that took the Judsons to India.  I had a chance to sit down in the ship to hear Judson’s story from "Captain Herb."  While I was listening to the story, I fell into a daydream, hearing “All on board; we are sailing to the mission field.”  Ivy and I will soon be joining that group who for 2000 years have been sent by the Holy Spirit to tell God's story.  In the worship service I was deeply moved seeing the parade of all the flags of the nations and hearing the choirs of hundreds of Burmese, so many voices singing praise to God.  The Mission Summit of 2013 was attended by an internationally diverse group; we were blessed to experience so many different tribes and races worshiping together.   Praise the Lord!  It was a preview of worship in the kingdom of God.  “Praise the Lord, all you nations; extol him, all you peoples.” Psalm 117:1.
Our current personal support goal (PSG) is at 97.5%.  When it reaches 100%, we will be commissioned.  It is time for those who have verbally committed to support our ministry to take action and send us over the top.  We are so very thankful for all the prayers and financial support that you, our faithful Missionary Partnership Network, give us.  As we are now so close to reaching our support goal that we have begun to plan the commissioning service on Sunday morning, August 18 at Karl Road Baptist Church, Columbus, OH.  The details will be announced when we reach 100% of PSG.   In that regard, please pray

that the Lord will call His children to fill the 2.5 % of PSG,
that the Lord will be working on hearts in Macau,
that our visas will be approved without difficulty,
that our health and travel will continue to be blessed.

May you be blessed with God’s warm love and trust in His living grace!  Thank you for being a part of this ministry through love and prayer.
