Pray for us as Tropical Storm Olga approaches

Dear Friends and Family,

Sub-tropical storm Olga has caused rain (six inches) and wind gusts breaking branches and small trees in our community (Northern Haiti). We are expecting rain (four more inches maybe) and wind gusts up to 40 mph during the night tonight as the storm passes over us. The storm should pass us by tomorrow afternoon (Dec 12). The concern is for flooding and landslides during the night and we ask for prayers for God's protection especially for the poorest of the poor who live in flimsy dwellings and may not be aware of the imminent danger to them. There have been some public health announcements during the day about the danger, but how many have heard about the storm is not known.

Thank you for your prayers.

In his loving arms,

Steve & Nancy James
