Happy New Year! Blessings to you as we begin 2014.

I am excited about this new year. I have already made my checklist for when classes begin in February:  

The Checklist

• Fill welcome bags for each new student (a few snacks to greet them in their room)
• Update orientation booklet for new students (who do I go to for . . .?)
• Organize orientation session for students (visas, health care, registration, schedules . . .)
• Prepare a Peace Circle for dorm students to get acquainted and establish community guidelines
• Find an organization for each student to complete their 150 hours of community service (TCU), required for all university students
• Rewrite the text for my course Written Communication to be used for an extension course
• Prepare my 2 Christian Education courses
• Publish our new hymnal
• Edit and publish a book translated by one of our professors
• Edit and publish a text for a New Testament course
• Write a monthly newsletter for the UBL

The REST of 2014 . . .

Now keep in mind, the tasks on my list will all be accomplished in the first half of this year.

During the second half, I want to come visit you!

I will be flying up to the US in July for the Missions Conference and 200th Anniversary of International Ministries in Green Lake, Wisconsin. After that, I will settle in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area and be available, from August through November, to visit churches where you are. Please let me know as soon as possible if you would like to host me, as I will be working on scheduling my visits in the coming months.
