This trip was a combination of ministry events.

We first went to Rukinguiri, where we supported and ministered to Our Fathers House Ministry. We were able to encourage Martin Duhimbaze in the wonderful work he is doing caring for orphans. We spent time with the children that we directly support. It was wonderful to see the amazing transformation in these children after being care for by Martin.

We then flew with Mission Aviation Fellowship to Soroti where my team was able to work, learn and teach at Bethesda Hospital run by Dr. Juvintine Emuke. We ministered to the sick, delivered babies, and learned valuable things that are helping us with the process of building Hearts 4 Africa's women's hospital in Iganga.

We were driven by Dr. Juvintine to Iganga after spending a week with him. We spent the next 4 days visiting our property and seeing the progress that has been made. It was such a blessing to see our 2 wells being used by the community for clean water and to see our first building actually being built! The Lord has been faithful in every step as He has continues to lead and provide for us as we serve Him. While in Iganga we met with the local Rotary Club who has agreed to be our sponsor club for a $100,000 grant that the Rotary club in Laguna Beach, Ca. is applying for us.

All in all, it was a wonderful time spent loving and caring for Gods people in Uganda.

I saw such wonderful transformations in the orphans that I support. From starving, dirty, destitute children to clothed, fed, schooled and filled with the love of the Lord Jesus.

I saw the hand of the Lord on each of the women that I was able to care for during pregnancy or births. What a blessing to be the hands and heart of Jesus to those less fortunate.

I see His hand in all the preparations and plans that somehow all come together. Sometimes you can't see those things clearly until you look back! Seeing a thirteen-year vision become reality in mortar and brick was an amazing aha moment for me.

We were able to look back over this trip and see how the Lord had been making divine appoints for us to help further the work He is doing in Hearts 4 Africa. We continue to share our vision and our calling with others as the Lord opens doors. Our fundraiser is being planned for June to raise support to complete our first building.
