The Union of Baptist Churches of Burundi is seeking a medical doctor (Internal Medicine or Pediatrician) to work alongside and build capacities of national medical personnel at a rural hospital at Musema.  The doctor will also identify challenges related to human resources, medical equipment and health issues in the communities served by the hospital and develop an advocacy policy, share prayer requests with his/her partnership network, and make fundraising appeals to address the challenges.  The presence of a missionary doctor is sought to restore to the hospital an emphasis on evangelism and discipleship as part of the hospital's historic mission of holistic healing and expansion of the kingdom of God.
