An ophthalmologist or optometrist (or nurse with optometric skills) is requested by the Evangelical Free Baptist Churches of Burundi to serve at their medical center at Kayanza, which was opened in November of 2015.  While a long-term/career global servant would be ideal, there would also be opportunities for persons who could serve on a short-term/volunteer basis for as little as a week or up to two years.  This is an important ministry responding to the needs of the community.
