To you who prayed for our calling into missionary ministry, we say thank you.

To you who supported our missionary calling financially, we say thank you.

To you who offered your talents, expertise, and time in support of our mission, we thank you.

To all of you who have partnered with us in any way, we say thank you.

To our Mission Partnership Team and our colleagues, we say thank you.

We’ve come so far thanks to your support, inspiration, companionship and collegiality. 

Like YOU, we wish we had reached our targeted support goal.

In our May 2017 newsletter, we mentioned that “we have prayed and humbly reconciled with God and International Ministries (IM) that we would discontinue our mission dream in partnership with IM if we failed to raise at least 60% of our funding commitment by November 2017.”

By mid-October, it became obvious to us that our goal is unreachable in spite of our diligent, intentional, and prayerful fund-raising efforts. For a graceful turn-away from our calling to missionary ministry, we have submitted our resignation effective October 31, 2017.

Although we wish to hear an audible voice from God answering one question “WHY”, we recalled that God uses brokenness as well as blessing to place us where we are supposed to be. Therefore friends, your support was not for a lost cause; it led us into a balanced sweet-burden journey of faith, a journey of failure and learning, a journey of friendship and growth. It is our belief that you have invested into God’s kingdom as we’re still using the wisdom and talent we acquired through the three years walk of faith to advance the kingdom of God on earth.

Once again, thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to the calling into “U-Turn” missionary ministry in Togo in partnership International Ministries.

Our mission in partnership with IM may end here, but IM mission, vision, and purpose will continue through the work of our colleague missionaries and global servants. We strongly encourage you to continue supporting IM missionaries as you feel led by the Holy Spirit of God.

Lord, may we pray you hear, touch, heal, bless and protect our supporters for they have been generous to us and lend freely. Ps 112:5.

We will continue to hold you in our prayers and ask that you do the same for us.  And may our paths cross again. GOODBYE.
