Greetings,

American Baptist International Ministries has set up a blog related to relief efforts for victims of Cyclone Nargis in Burma.  It can be found at http://baptistsinburmacrisis.blogspot.com. Comments and information contributed to the blog would be appreciated.  Anyone who would like to post information on the blog should e-mail Marlon Millner at marlon.millner@abc-usa.org so they can be added as a "user." Like so many things in Burma, the cyclone heavily affected many Baptists and the American Baptists, Cooperative Baptists and others continue to be active in providing relief.

On a personal note, we are sorry if we have been quiet lately as we have been traveling to Thailand and around the northwest of the US.  Duane led the Xtreme Team to Thailand where much of the focus related to the Karen refugee situation and resettlement to the US.  The team kept up a blog at www.xtremeteamonline.org if anyone would like to read about the trip.  After the Xtreme Team, we traveled for a couple more weeks around the US where we were able to visit the Karen and Burmese communities in Boise, Spokane, Seattle and Portland.  Now we are back in Ohio and should be more accessible.

Blessings,

Duane & Marcia
