We ask for prayer that action would be taken to improve the dirt road that leads to the City of Youth. Year after year, we have had problems with this road. In the past, armed assaults were the biggest problem, but thankfully, the assaults have decreased greatly. Our great challenge now is the condition of the road when it rains. This month, many of our staff have often been unable to make it to the City of Youth, as the staff bus gets stuck driving down the dirt road and is unable to arrive on campus. Classes have had to be canceled, and many staff members have returned home for the day. For years, we have sent countless letters and petitions to the authorities asking for improvement on this road, but to no avail. Let's join together in prayer that something would finally be accomplished.
