Construction Teams Needed in Costa Rica! (Volunteer Opportunity)

A construction project has begun at the Latin American Biblical University (UBL) that will take four to five years to complete. Up to twenty teams a year are needed to build apartments for the foreign students who come to the seminary with their children/families.  At the moment we there are only seven units, and they are over 25 years old and have groundwater issues. These are being demolished, and construction is beginning shortly for the new units. 

Where: The Latin American Biblical University (UBL), San José, Costa Rica

Team size: 9 to 25 people 

Length:  7 to 10 days

Cost: $40/day/person includes:

Airport pickup and delivery

Local transportation for group activities

Housing at UBL facilities

Meals at the UBL

One day of sightseeing

Cost per person,for materials: $350 - $500

Activities include:

5 to 8 days in a work project at the UBL

Dialogues with UBL professors and students.

Visit to a local church or community

One day ecological experience (options include coffee, banana and pineapple plantations, walks in the rain forest, visit a volcano or an archaeological site)
