Want to teach in Thailand, but haven't been able to commit to a whole year?  How about four weeks this summer?  Whether you are a teacher or someone who love to work with kids, consider serving God this summer in beautiful Chiang Rai, Thailand!

Chiang Rai International Christian School will be running an English program for non-English speaking students who need to improve their level of English.  The ESL (English as a second language) department will be organizing this program, July 11 - July 29, from 8:30am - noon, Monday-Friday. The team needs help particularly from people with a teaching background or who love to organize games and activities with young children. You will be supported by an experienced ESL teacher. CRICS will help with accommodation and your afternoons would be free for local adventure / sightseeing.

Volunteers are asked to arrive between July 6 or 7.  Volunteer orientation will be before July 11th at CRICS.  The summer program leaders will be departing for the states at the end of the camp.  Volunteers are asked to make travel arrangements back to the states shortly after July 29th.

In the afternoons and on weekends, teacher volunteers are invited to be involved in touring local areas and cultural opportunities as well as visiting local ministries. Pete Quesenberry is making plans to provide opportunities for volunteers to visit local ministries in the area. Volunteers will be interacting with a variety of cultures. They will engage with summer ESL volunteers from a variety of church backgrounds in the US. Volunteers will engage with the Northern Thai Culture and with an international missions community. Volunteers will interact with the northern thai hill-tribe cultures as well.

CRICS is a K-12th grade school, and instruction is English-based. We have students from around the world including America, Australia, Thailand, Holland, Taiwan. Our teachers come from around the globe as well!
