Rev. Kou Wei Wei visited the office of the American Baptist International Ministries (IM) today with Dr. Nathan Corbitt, the President and CEO of the BuildaBridge and a professor of Eastern University. Rev. Kou is the Assistant Director of the Church-Run Social Service Program of the Amity Foundation, a close partner of IM in China. She is also the seventh Amity executive staff who is invited to study in the intensive NGO operation and English language training program run by IM, and co-sponsored by the BuildaBridge and the Eastern University. Rev. Kou will also serve as a BuildaBridge Associate in Philadelphia from September to November.

“I am thankful for this opportunity to learn from American culture and NGOs, especially how the churches mobilize volunteers to support social services,” Rev. Kou shared her excitement.

Dr. Ben Chan is an area director at International Ministries.  He relates to international partners and missionaries in East Asia, India, Hong Kong and China.
