Presenting Angela!

 

Angela is a little girl from the Baptist Church of Sixaola, Costa Rica. She has been coming to our church since her mother Rosita was pregnant with her. She has two siblings who are six and five years old, Angelique and Ricardo. Like all little three year old girls, she is very playful and clever. 

 

Angela was our "baby Jesus" in our nativity play in 2010 after she was born on December 22. This year we celebrated her third birthday in her humble home. We sat at the table and brought a cake that cost four dollars. The size and price did not matter to her. She was happy because some of the children from the church were celebrating her birthday and gave her a doll.

 

Angela's parents are Nicaraguan immigrants who came to Sixaola looking for better lives and new work opportunities in agriculture. Her mother was baptized in June of 2012. 

Angela, like all the children who attend our church need your prayers. We give thanks to God for allowing us to develop  this strong ministry to the children of Sixaola.
