International Ministries Baptist partners, Hungary Baptist Aid, have recently been requested to supervise and direct over fifty schools that were formerly run by local governments or foundations.  The schools are now in dire need of help with all of these schools! Teachers would teach English (conversation, pronunciation, writing, reading, culture, civilization) in elementary schools (grades 1-8) and high schools (grades 9-12). They would teach together with a Hungarian teacher.

Those teachers who will teach in bi-lingual schools will also be teaching one or more of the following subjects: Mathematics, Geography, Science, Arts, History, Civilization in English.

At the beginning it is NOT a requirement for teachers to be able to speak Hungarian. It is even better if they communicate with the student only in English.

It is a benefit if the person has an education degree, but it is not a must. However, a BA degree is a minimum requirement.

The Hungarian Baptists can help arrange visa once the volunteer teacher is in Hungary.
