In a new video series, 11 Christian leaders from around the world talk about what their partnerships with IM have meant to their ministries.
In July 2014, International Ministries (IM) gathered together representatives of partner mission organizations from around the globe to discuss ministry challenges and opportunities, share wisdom and build networks to support future ministry. After the landmark event, 11 of these international leaders met with us to speak about their long-term partnerships with IM.
Partnerships are central to IM’s missiology and mission work. As IM Associate Executive Director and Global Consultant Stan Slade explains, “Wherever IM works, our personnel actively seek out the ways in which God is already at work in the local context, raising up believers, leaders and organizations. IM comes alongside God's local mission instruments, whatever their size or specific focus, seeking always to work with them in ways that cultivate long-term relationships of mutual respect, mutual learning and mutual support, dedicated to serving the reign of God on earth.
“Talking with the partners, it was incredible to hear what God has been doing through their relationships with IM,” says Laura Timmel, IM editorial assistant. “Some of these men and women have worked beside IM for decades, and their respect and appreciation for the area directors, leadership and global servants were obvious.”
Highlights from the 11 conversations with IM’s international partners are now available for viewing on YouTube. Full-quality video files are also available by request. (Email laura.timmel@internationalministries.org.)
