Missionary Rovaughna Richardson available for speaking engagements in March-May 2016

Rovaughna Richardson would love to be a guest speaker at your church during the month of March, April or May. She welcomes also meeting with any mission boards that are open to supporting a new missionary and consider a new partnership with her ministry.

Rovaughna just returned from her Vision Trip in Ghana and will be working in Frankadua at the Baptist Vocational Training Centre.  The BVTC is a widely known anti-modern day slavery/human trafficking organization that rescues, rehabilitates and educates young women who have been victimized by the Trokosi system. It does this by offering a three-year residential training program, with the goal of preparing these women for independent and fulfilling lives in the outside world.  Rovaughna will use her Social Work background to counseling and business skills development.

The Ghana Baptist Convention, a longstanding partner of American Baptist International Ministries (IM), founded the Baptist Vocational Training Center (BVTC) in 1999 in response to the outmoded and outlawed practice still widely occurring throughout the Volta region with an estimate of 2,000 girls still entrapped in the system.  Rovaughna will serve alongside Rev. Grace Akunor, the Director of BVTC.

March is here and May will be here soon so please contact Rovaughna promptly to be a part of her itinerary as she is open to travel or if you’re in any of the areas during the time-frame below:
