Satribari Nursing School is looking to advance its program to a bachelor’s program. They seek mentoring from nursing instructors as well as visiting professors in nursing education. Nurses with at least a bachelor’s degree may go to volunteer with them in their school or community outreach programs. Specialties in OB/GYN, Pediatrics, Surgery, ER, Community Health or Public Health, ICU/CCU, Nursing Administration and Nutrition are specifically needed. Volunteers would be asked to give instruction to students in years 1-3 of their GNM (General Nurse and Midwife) program at the Nursing School as well as help with training at the Satribari Hospital. Instructors may also be able to teach at other CBCNEI hospitals or participate in conferences that gather instructors or students from CBCNEI facilities. All instruction would be coordinated with the principal, vice-principal and medical supervisor of the Satribari Nursing School and Hospital.

From this small beginning the Nurses Training School has grown, with the out-turn of graduates regularly annually. More information about the hospital is available here.
