This week we are enjoying a week-long Fall Break from school! We took this opportunity to travel, as a family, to stay with Pastor Zoltán Nyúl in Serbia. We attended services in both of the churches he serves, including a delicious Thanksgiving meal and an excellent concert of a traveling men's choir!
Zoltan and his wife Viki have seven children (and twin grandchildren--born on his 50th birthday!), so you can imagine the fun our girls had. We thank God for these special partners in the gospel. I was blessed to meet the brothers and sisters Larry worked with and for, serving the refugees and cutting and delivering firewood.
Zoltán has a great ministry in little churches with big hearts in northern Serbia. Check out their good work here, and lift them up in prayer in your churches, please.
Also on this trip, I got to visit the North Star community center that Larry has partnered with for refugees on the Serbian border. Earlier this month we asked for donations of winter clothes for the refugees from local Hungarian churches and received a great response. Larry will continue traveling back to Serbia this fall.
