Samaritana Transformation Ministries, Inc., in Manila, Philippines, serves women who are either at risk or coming out of prostitution. This ministry is seeking an Administrative and Communications assistant. This position is available to qualified volunteers and vocational candidates, with terms of 1 or more years.

The Administrative and Communications Assistant will contribute to the vision of Samaritana by providing administrative and communications support, including but not limited to phone and email inquiries and formal correspondence; receiving and welcoming guests and visitors; documenting staff and Board meetings; coordinating schedules; initiating regular posts and communication on the organization’s Facebook account; writing funding proposals and technical reports; writing annual reports for the organization; and assisting with human resource development.

Required:
Bachelor’s degree. Helpful courses for this position include business management, administration and secretarial.

Experience:
Three to five years experience is required. English language is required. Tagalog language is preferred.
Candidates should demonstrate high proficiency and literacy in computer applications, be fluent in written and spoken English, be a self-motivated self-starter, display a servant attitude, be team player, demonstrate flexibility and resourcefulness and have good organizational skills.
