The Christian Center for the Development of People with Disabilities (CDPD) in Mae Sariang, Thailand needs a physical therapist who can come assist in continuing education for CDPD staff and assist staff in training families in the villages.  The volunteer is welcome to stay 6 months to a year

CDPD will assist the volunteer in finding a house to rent, volunteer must provide all their expenses. Since the minimum time request is 6 months, the volunteer will need a Non-Immigrant “O” Visa. 

The volunteer must be in good health, have flexibility, and can work well with others. Some knowledge of Thai and Karen languages and hill tribe culture would be helpful.  Volunteer must have experience in teaching and working in the community, preferably with experience in developing country.
