Mabudiga and Kihomi Nzunga serve as a vital link between International Ministries and the Haitian Baptist Convention. Mabudiga teaches theology at the Christian University of Northern Haiti, trains assistant professors in teaching and writing books, administers a scholarship program, and visits and preaches in churches. He also administers the "Kids for Kids" goat projects, and provides needed school and personal supplies for children and university students.

Kihomi works with families in areas of counseling, family planning, and women's health issues. She also coordinates and advises the women's association of the Haitian Baptist Convention, representing women of all the Baptist denominations of Haiti at international conferences.

Today, around six PM, we heard a knock and I rushed to open the door. A young girl who, about two months ago came to ask for financial assistance to go school, came saying that: “I heard that you were sick and I am coming to pray for you”. We invited her in and gave her a seat. After singing two songs in Creole, she read Psalms 139 and made some comments. She then sung another song to prepare us for the prayer. She really prayed out of her heart and ended her prayer with the recitation of the Lord’s Prayer. Before leaving, she gave pastoral blessing.

It was a moving experience as well as a very comforting one. We praise God for the ministry of evangelization in this country. We not only give: we also receive.
