Zeyri is a young lady whose feet lead her day after day to the after school tutoring program that we have at my house. Her body is fragile and thin and she wears flip-flops that she leaves at the door to my house which is customary here. Here they never enter a house wearing shoes or flip-flops. From day to day her surefootedness continues to surprise me.

Currently, she is attending eighth grade and she shows a lot of interest in her studies. But it was not like this when we started the tutoring program in 2008. At that time her grades were very low and for this reason we invited her to participate in the tutoring program. God has been wonderful! Now she not only has improved her own grades, but she also helps the other young girls and boys who participate in the program when needed.

Her health is not the best but her spirit overcomes all obstacles that she faces. As a missionary with International Ministries I praise God for allowing me to walk in another’s shoes and to put myself in the place of these children.

Your contributions to the World Mission Offering and to White Cross make it possible for Zeyri and many other young people to continue their studies.
