The next two days will be ones of transition as the four person medical team working in Christianville, west of Port-au-Prince, travel north to Limbe. On the way out the team hopes to visit a few medical facilities in and around the capital city to determine if there is a functioning operation where future visiting medical teams could be received and utilized.

In the meantime, Nancy reports an increasing number of refugees arriving from the south. "We are going to have to deal with refugees in the north. They are coming to our doorstep now."

After Steve returns home this weekend, he and Nancy will begin emergency action planning with the help of the disaster consultant who has just arrived in Limbe.
