The four person Limbe medical team left the Christianville clinic early this morning and by 7:30 a.m. was visiting the Salvation Army Tent Hospital in Port-au-Prince. The team was able to make contact with the Cooperative Baptist Fellowship doctor who has been working there all week. Steve was very impressed with the level of organization he observed.

The team then proceeded north, stopping at the Titiyen Conference Center to see if rooms for traveling personnel are still available. The team is expected to arrive in Limbe before sundown today.

Nancy reports that the cell phone system in Haiti seems to be up and running normally, easing the frustrations associated with trying to communicate across town or across the country. She was able to watch the fund raising telethon last night with a small group of friends some of whom experienced the quakes in Port and have taken up residence in Haute Limbe. They were all touched by and grateful for the outpouring of love and support for the nation.

Please pray for:

1. The safe and speedy return of the medical team to Limbe
2. Wisdom and discernment in the coming days as Steve and Nancy consider how to best apply their time and talents to the continuing relief efforts
