International Ministries is co-operating with the Nazareth Evangelical Theological Seminary (NETS) (www.nazarethseminary.org)  to offer sabbatical opportunities in Israel/Palestine for American Baptists! NETS is an independent, inter-denominational evangelical seminary with links to and historic roots in the Association of Baptist Churches in Israel. The Association is a partner of International Ministries'.

This unique Study Program begins in the fall.  It is an enriching blend of activities designed to refresh, inform and envision your life.

You will be introduced to a biblically based and theologically sound understanding of the Holy Land and the issues which surround its past and present.   There will be opportunities to meet with members of the Arab and Jewish communities and hear their own stories about faith and life in modern Israel. Finally, there will be days for guided tours to the major holy sites and time for personal reflection and relaxation. Participants are welcome with or without a background in theology and our staff will be happy to supervise learning programs from basic introductions to post-graduate levels of study.

NETS is offering a complete package which includes flights from London Luton to Tel Aviv  (for UK participants), transfer to and from Ben Gurion Airport, bed, breakfast and main meals, and all costs for advertised tourist visits.  There will be a four day visit to Jerusalem staying in guest house or hotel accommodation which includes all meals, visits to major sites, Bethlehem, the Dead Sea and Masada.  American travelers will arrange own travel to Tel Aviv.
