Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

During this time of Christmas Celebration, we are reminded of the indescribable gift of God to each of us – Jesus Christ, who makes us very grateful for the precious gift of eternal life.  It is also time to express our gratitude to you for your gift of prayers and financial support on our behalf during 2011. Your enthusiasm to give has stirred Bethel Church in Bluefields, Kukra Hill, and Rama - Nicaragua into action.  Your gifts enabled our ministry to:

• Start a radio program through our Bethel Internet Radio Station (www.missionbluefields.org/Bethel_Radio)
• Continue with God’s work, as we walk daily with the Nicaraguans
• Receive short-term volunteers from the USA, sharing your gift of love in person
• Inspire Nicaraguans to leave their comfort zones and to respond to God’s call, just like Don Fletes did until the Lord took him for eternity
• Support Escarlet, Onell, and Argentina in the church in Rama
• Allow Joel Garcia, Pastor in Kukra Hill, to finish his Seminary studies
• Pay the administration of Bethel School in Kukra Hill
• Buy the land in Rama
• Finish the building of the parsonage in Rama
• Finish the foundation of the multipurpose church and school in Rama
• Bring six Haitian musicians to Nicaragua for university studies and to teach music
• Continue with the work of evangelism and discipleship on the Atlantic Coast
• Pastor the hearts of many children and young people through the different ministries


As we enter into this New Year 2012 with great expectations from the Lord and as He continues to surprise us, let Him use us for His glory and honor.  As God’s hands and feet, we pray that together, the Lord will use us to accomplish these and greater things in Nicaragua:

• Finish the multipurpose facility in Rama
• Continue to support Escarlet Fletes in her Seminary studies
• Continue and strengthen the ministry of Bethel Church and School in Kukra Hill
• Continue to evangelize and disciple in the power of the Spirit
• Increase the vision of the church for a greater expectation of God’s supernatural work
• Start a new church in Muelle de los Bueyes
• Continue to support the Haitians with their studies and music ministry
• Strengthen the ministries (Day Care, After School Program, Safe Harbor, Bethel School, AWANA Club) in the churches

As Paul said in 2 Corinthians 9:13-15, we say likewise:  “Because of the service by which you have proved yourselves, men will praise God for the obedience that accompanies your confession of the gospel of Christ, and  for your generosity in sharing with them and with everyone else.  And in their prayers for you, their hearts will go out to you, because of the surpassing grace of God in you.  Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift.”
