One year ago, Larry and I began network building and support raising. We received training in Valley Forge then began traveling to the wonderful churches that belong to the extended family of believers in Christ. The Lord has showered us with safe travels, sweet fellowship, great Bible lessons and glorious worship.

On this anniversary, we are so grateful for the people who have been supporting us for a year now, and those who have joined us along the way. You heard our story, joined our network and acted with abundant encouragement and giving: how precious you are! You confirmed the Holy Spirit’s call on our lives. Thank you.

We are still caught in a time of waiting.  We have almost all of our support, but we still have a little more to go.  At a recent women’s meeting, the devotion leader spoke about God using times of waiting in our lives.  She taught from Psalm 27:14 Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. Taking heart, we know that the Lord will continue to bless us as we wait, and we have hope that he will bless us in unexpected ways.

Now we are transitioning from network-building to final preparations. Larry and ALL of his ladies have just begun a month-long cross-cultural training in Colorado. We have started making arrangements for our home, cars, and life here to become life over-seas. We’ve been advised to make plans for our commissioning service, our official sending off celebration!

Please continue your prayers for us as we learn in our final training and as we make our plans for the big move to Liberia. Pray that we serve the master, Jesus, in every transition along the way. Blessings to you and yours as you endeavor to do the same!
