At the 2014 World Mission Conference, we have spent time dreaming and planning and listening--discerning from each other and the Holy Spirit where and how we should go next.

We have heard amazing stories from other IM missionaries. We felt Annie Dieselberg's passion for releasing women, men and children from human trafficking (prostitution): http://www.internationalministries.org/teams/62-dieselberg. We entered Stan Murray's memories of being taken, in disguise, through the dark alleys of Viet Nam on the back of a motorbike to a secret church meeting. We followed Dwight and Barbara Bolick (http://www.internationalministries.org/teams/49-bolick) to the bottom of the earth in southern Chile, miles away from her native Texas, to see the smiles of the young girls they are rescuing from lives of abuse and despair. Perhaps my favorite story came from Dan Chetti's work training Christian converts and pastors in Lebanon and his challenge to love the Muslim world, for "how can you share the love of Jesus with someone you hate" (http://www.internationalministries.org/teams/56-chetti).

Missionaries are real people.

They have children, heartache and heartburn. They are passionate about the call God has placed in their hearts.

They have reminded me that every follower of Christ is a missionary, powered only by the Holy Spirit.

The missionaries and staff at International Ministries along with over 100 international partners from around the world are seeking God's direction for a new century of missions. Holy Spirit, please bless us to continue to help those you have called COME to Christ, GROW in faith, and CHANGE the world around them! In Jesus' name, AMEN.
