English Camp!

Please be in prayer for our upcoming summer English camp at the school in Téglás, June 29-July 4. For the third year in a row, a group from Texas will come and host a week of all-day Vacation Bible school and English language lessons combined!

In previous years, this camp has been for 5-8^th graders; this year it is being offered to Ruth’s class, the first graders who have just completed their first bi-lingual school year. I will teach that group with a Hungarian interpreter, a nice Baptist young woman named Alíz (Alice). I was delighted to hear that 17 of our 30 students have signed up for the camp!

Please pray for the Texans coming and the teachers and organizers as we prepare for this great experience. Students and staff have told me how nice the guests from Texas are and how good the program is for the kids. The Hungarians who teach English will serve as interpreters in the classrooms, and they say it’s a great opportunity for them to practice their language skills. They have become dear friends, and I long for them to be sisters in Christ.

Please pray that seeds of faith are planted, watered and nurtured!
