Just a quick note to share a few wonderful experiences from Baptist schools I have the privilege of working at here in Hungary.

We visited a high school in Budapest that is also operated by our partner organization, Hungarian Baptist Aid. The students gave us a tour of their school--in English! For me, a very special moment came when they told the history of the school. It is so much better since Hungarian Baptist Aid bought the school. They support us. In addition to a bi-lingual program, a rigorous curriculum and numerous after school programs are available for free. They have one lesson each week in Bible; attendance is mandatory, but belief isn't. Again I heard that phrase, they support us. They teach us the principles of religion and leave the choice to us. Someone asked, are you believers? No, they said simply, and one girl said, Not yet. We are still learning. Many of these students commute long distances to this school, and they feel lucky to have gotten in. My heart surged with joy: young lives are being improved as Jesus' disciples faithfully work.

And now, the joy of dancing.

Every February the Téglás school hosts a charity ball. It is tradition that a group of teachers performs a routine, and this year we danced to classic Hungarian rock-and-roll. It was a great blessing to get to know more of the teachers, building relationships through dance. Be sure to visit our public Facebook page to see pictures: www.facebook.com/StantonGlobalServants.

The EURO high school in Debrecen has a special ceremony every year for graduates called the "ribbon pinning." After the formal ceremony there is a talent show featuring students from each grade in the school, plus students in the adult continuing education program. The finale of the program is a dance with the graduating seniors, teachers, and even administrators! This year's dance was a traditional Hungarian folk dance, and I really enjoyed dancing with the seniors (one young man is in the World Mission Offering video) and staff of the school.

What is a Baptist school? To me it is a place where young people from all backgrounds receive a quality education and are graciously supported to faith. Thank you for YOUR support, enabling us to work in such a place!
