Dear Friends,

As many of you know, my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer almost 2 years ago.She has been finished with treatment for about a year but yesterday she got word that the cancer markers are elevated in her blood. This means that the cancer is probably back but they just don't know where, yet.On Wednesday, June 12 she will have a bone scan and a CAT scan to try and find the location of the cancer.The likelihood is that it is in bone, lung or brain.

I am asking all of my friends and family to take Tuesday, June 11 as a day of prayer for my mother.There will be many churches that will have a 24-hour prayer vigil and if you would like to do that as well, please contact me.My mother is a strong woman of faith and she is so very disappointed to find that her cancer has returned.Her doctors expected this but she had hope that it was gone.My prayers for her are that whatever the outcome of her tests on Wednesday that she has the strength and courage to continue to be a strong witness of her faith.Please help me in this endeavor.
