Thank You for Your Prayers

Dear Friends and Family,

I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to write to all of you about an update on things happening with me and my mother, Nancy.I am back in the Dominican Republic and have been working a lot so have not taken the time to write.Thank you for all of your emails, cards and letters. They really mean so much.

First of all, mom is through with her radiation and apart from some pretty extensive skin burns, seems to be doing well. She won't really know more until she has another CATScan in the next week or two.We still solicit all of your prayers and thoughts in the coming weeks.

I would also like to ask for prayer for my aunt, not related to my mother, who was diagnosed with breast cancer right after I returned to the DR.She is in her early forties so this is a surprise, especially after a mammogram and biopsy were negative.I thank God that she went ahead and had a "benign" lump removed, where they then discovered the cancer. She has had surgery to remove any cancerous tissue and the sentinel node and it appears will have radiation. The doctors really feel she has the greatest of odds and believe all cancer has been removed.

So, thank you, again, my friends for all of your prayers and thoughts. So much is in God's hands and we continue to place our trust in Him.

Love in Christ,

Kristy
