Dear Loved Ones,

<?xml:namespace prefix = v ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:vml" /><?xml:namespace prefix = w ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:word" />Youseline Alcime is a graduate of l’UCNH (Christian <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />University of Northern Haiti). While she was here, we developed a close and lasting relationship. We spent lots of time in mentoring her, teaching her, and just being together with her. She was also a big help to us.

When we weren’t home, she would baby sit our youngest, Pambi. On April 19, 2009, she got married, and two weeks ago, she gave birth to a healthy baby girl.

Today, we felt compelled to go visit her in order to see the baby and say goodbye to Youseline. We found her to be happily married, and overjoyed at being a new mother. The only problem, so far, had to do with her newborn daughter. During our conversation, she informed us that her baby cried a lot when she was being breastfed. Kihomi discovered that the reason the baby cried so much was that her mother was breastfeeding her in the wrong position, making the experience an uncomfortable one for the baby.

Kihomi then proceeded to show her the correct method of breastfeeding. Youseline really appreciated it, as did the baby. She said that it was the Holy Spirit who had brought us there that day, because they were at their wit’s end trying to figure out what was wrong with the baby. It was good to see how God is still using us, even in these last days before our departure for our deputation.

For all your supports, your prayers, we all say “mesi ampil”. Thanks a lot.

Yours in Haiti,

Nzunga, Kihomi & Pambi.
