Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting in the name of our Lord. We are now in Gilbert, Arizona where we will reside for this deputation year.

We are praising God for allowing us to be here and reunite with all our children again after almost 7 years. We are enjoying the granddaughter, Naima Adrianna Mumbere. Is it is a joy to see everyday. We need all need your prayers.

Our ministries in Haiti:

In general our ministries will continue with our partners. For years now we have enjoyed a very good and close relationship with leaders of the churches around the country and also with those heading the Haitian Baptist convention. We are confident that they will carry on their duties with honor and pride.

The eye clinic:

At the eye clinic, two ladies are responsible to oversee the daily operation of the clinic. The general secretary of the Haitian Baptist Convention, the Reverend Dr. Emmanuel Pierre, will be the one the two ladies will be reporting everything that goes on at the clinic. They have been well trained that we need to be praying for them. The task is hard but we are confident that they will care their duty with competency. A second eye doctor will be joining us at the beginning of September. We are all looking forward to his coming to bring in some new, fresh insights and energy to our clinic.

Teaching at the university:

For five years now, I have been training young persons who could take over once I am not present. Otherwise, I have worked myself out of job by making disciples. Mr. Henry Claude is able and holds a Master of Divinity from the same university, l'Universite chretienne du Nord d'Haiti. Ms. Emma Prince has a year to go before getting her Master of Divinity. Both professors need our support in prayers.

Women ministries:

These ministries have been restructured and still organized   in different regions for a better coordination. Leaders in those regions have been trained and have had extensive experience in leadership.

On the national level, Sister Jeanis Celem is the president to whom everybody will be reporting the functioning of all the regions. She will be visiting women in churches and coordinating the women ministry. Sister Celem will then report to the general secretary of the Haitian Baptist Convention, the Reverend Dr. Emmanuel Pierre. Sister Danise Abel will oversee the CHE (Community Health & Evangelism) program. She is to report the Dr. Emmanuel Pierre.

All those different ministries would not be possible without your daily prayers and your sacrificial giving.

Please continue to pray for our Haitian brothers and sisters.

Yours,

Nzunga, Kihomi, Pambi.
