Dear Loved ones,

 

Greeting from Salem, Indiana. After a week of mission conference on the beautiful campus of Eastern University where we had the privilege to connect physically with the staff of International Ministries and the colleague missionaries on US/ Puerto Rico assignment, we went back to visit our children for a week prior to taking off for a month in Indiana.

 

On Friday August 14, 09 our flight was delayed for many hours but the delay was compensated by the warm reception we received by our dear friends Dennis and Joan Shewell. Their well developed sense of humor can make a dead person laugh.

 

This past Sunday we visited our first church of this home assignment in Madison. We were well received, well treated and well fed. Baptist women can cook. They invited Kihomi to join them for their women meeting on Tuesday afternoon. Besides the offering, the kids of the church gave their love offering to help support the kid to kid goat project in Haiti. Their support can buy up to ten goats and help ten kids in the near future.

 

Next Sunday we head on to another church.
