Dear Loved Ones,

Greetings. We left Haiti on Monday for five days in Miami attending a meeting. While there, we were sadly surprised with the news of the floods in the South part of the country. The news talks about 1000 dead. So it seems that Haiti as a country is here to manage crisis. We have not gotten over the effects of the war yet and here comes another sad news.

Things are calm in the northern part of the country where we are. We are all crying with those who are crying at this present time in the south. This Sunday was Mother's Day Sunday.Women were leading the services and some preached good and comforting words of God in a troubled time like this one.

At the university, we are busy getting ready with the finals and the upcoming graduation on June 9 at 10:00 AM. Our son Nzunga Giguya will be graduating from Junior High on June 11. They will be visiting the States so Nzunga Pambi and Giguya can attend the summer camps in the central region while their mother will have time to rest. I will be here all summer trying to write something for the hospital ministries.

We all appreciate your prayers and we ask you to continue to lift Haiti to the throne of grace.

Yours,

Nzunga Mabudiga
