Dear Friends and Loved Ones,

May the God of Heaven give you peace. We continue to praise His name for all His goodness to us. Our deputation in churches is progressing well. We continue to meet new friends and to discover new churches. Everywhere we go; we are well received and well treated.

We are in close contact with Haitian brothers and sisters and we are kept afresh on our different ministries. In spite of the quake, people are struggling to find there way out of a desperate situation. They have not given up on life and pray daily for God guidance and support.

The Cap-Haitian eye clinic continues its ministry of providing the best eye care to patients regardless of their status and their economic conditions. Last year alone, 6025 patients were treated and 536 patients have been seen from January to February 11.

This ministry is possible because you care. Without your sacrificial giving, it would be impossible for so many patients to get the quality care they deserve.

We know now that the situation has become extremely difficult and complex because of the earthquake. It will take years for the county of Haiti to be back on its own feet.

For years now we have committed ourselves to crying and to rejoicing with them no matter what happens. We plan to go back at the end of May. And we are ready and looking forward to reuniting with the people of Haiti.

Please keep praying for our Haitian brothers and sisters.

 Peace

 Yours truly,

 Nzunga Mabudiga

Kihomi Ngwemi

The eye clinic is a vital service to the people of northern Haiti and continues to serve even under the current conditions.  I don’t know of any clinics in the USA that would treat an average of 143 people a day.  There equipment is old and in some cases in disrepair.  If you know of any eye doctor or clinic that has obsolete or surplus equipment they desperately need it.  Please contact me (Dennis Shewell) if you know where we might get some equipment donated.

Nzunga and Kihomi continue to tell the story of Haiti all over the USA in many American Baptist Churches.  They want all who hear them to develop the love for these people that they have and support their efforts to bring the love of Christ to them.  All earthly institutions have always failed these people but God won’t.  Please consider being part of their Missionary Partnership Network (MPN).
