Dear Loved Ones,

Peace and Grace of our Lord on each one of you. Kihomi and I are just returning from San Bernadino, California where we took a crash course on Trauma Counseling.

We deep down believe that counseling of the victims of the January  12 earthquake in Haiti is a need people feel and will continue to feel for many, many years to come. The experience of seeing their whole life turned upside down: loved ones wiped out in a second, belongings gone in a blink of the eye, parts of body lost unexpectedly, the whole city turned into a sandwich have marked millions of lives in  Haiti. To resume life as normal will take time for many people.

Many have thought of  suicide and those in camps are wondering how long will they remain in those camps.

We hope our new knowledge will be significant to assist in the rebuilding of a new Haiti.

Thank you for all your support.

Yours,

Nzunga & Kihomi

Dear Supporters,

The mental component of the tragic earthquake may, in the long run, be more of a problem than the physical.   Some people will not go into a building even now 4 months after the event.  Many in the tent cities see no way to get out.  Diseases such as diphtheria are starting to show up.  Nzunga and Kihomi are attempting to equip themselves for the Haiti they will return to soon to be as effective as possible in showing God's love in practical ways.  Your support is why they can do so.  Thank you so much.  Please keep praying  for them and Haiti.

In Him,

Nzunga's and Kihomi's Missionary Partnership Team
