Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled. Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy. Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God." (Matthew 5:3-9) First of all, some of you may have heard that I've returned to the U.S. for the summer. I decided that I really needed to return to focus on my studies and do some traveling for the hospital and the mission. I also just needed a break and some time to rest. I hope that each of you who are going to La Romana this summer will have a wonderful trip and continue to experience the amazing blessing of being a part of the ministry to the bateyes and barrios. Second, at the end of this month, many medical team members will be in La Romana for a Medical Symposium to discuss the future of work in the bateyes and how we can all work together more efficiently and move in the same direction.
