Dear Loved Ones,

Happy New Year to each and every one of you. We are happy to announce that the Haitian Baptist Eye Clinic has added on another dimension to its caring ministry: the teaching component.

As well as doing eye examinations, prescribing glasses, performing eye surgery and providing medical help for the eyes, seven student nurses from the nursing school in Gonaives are serving their internships at the Eye Clinic in Cap Haitien, Haiti. An additional seven will come as soon as the first group is finished. This is just one more example of Christian service to the education community.

This clinic has been one example of Christian love thanks to your support. You have not stopped praying for us and your prayers have been an energizer for us and to our caring ministry.

We pray that this New Year 2011 brings to all of you Peace and Blessings in the Lord.

Dear Supporters,

Look into the smiling faces of these student nurses.  It is wonderful when you see those who are helping break the vicious cycle of poverty and hardship and turning it into a virtuous cycle of love.  You support keeps the eye clinic going and Nzunga there to administer to those in need.  Thank you.

Blessings,
