Dear Loved Ones,

Greeting. It is Monday February 7, 2011 at 10:00 PM. We want to get ready to go to bed since in a couple of minutes the electricity will go off. Kihomi tried to open the windows to get some fresh air as we sleep. Underneath the first curtain she opens, a snake is seriously watching her. She screams in loud voice: snake, snake!

Immediately the courageous and brave Kihomi runs downstairs to come up with a pot of boiling water which she waters the snake with before finishing it by chopping its head off.

We never know who invites himself/herself/itself in. Among those unwanted guests, we count: snakes, frogs, lizards, mosquitoes, mice and rats, scorpions, centipedes, flies all of kinds, cockroaches, tarantula, spiders and so on and so on.

In less than 5 minutes before the electricity goes off, God uses a small act, a small gesture of opening the curtains to show us His love. We praise Him that the snake was not in bed with us.

Many times we search for God's miracles without realizing that He protects us against so many dangers including the unwelcome visitors such as the small and harmful creatures.

Now we have a question: What would Nzunga DO if Kihomi was not home?
Because she is always in churches training women.

Thank you for praying for our safety.
