Dear Friends, How do you start your day? This is a hard question to answer. Here is how we started our day Thursday August 22, 07. We woke up to a flood -- but without a storm. At 4:00 AM I was wide awake and decided to get some exercise before getting ready for Cap-Haitian. When I stepped outside of our bedroom, I heard somewhere the water was running wild. I went downstairs only to discover the pipe has burst open. We had about five inches of water all over the house. Boxes and shoes, etc were all dancing on top of the water! When Kihomi heard my footsteps in water she woke up all of a sudden and ran downstairs. Since her eyes were fixed on her VCR camera, she missed the last step and felt into water! Praise God she was not hurt. She kind of got a second baptism! We got ourselves ready to get the water out. We did not finish until 6:30am. And it was some kind of work. We praise God we got our exercise for the day and had a clean cement floor, which Kihomi would have cleaned by herself in normal conditions. God knows what He does and has daily plans for us.
