Dear Loved Ones and Mission Supporters,

Peace of Lord on you all.

This Sunday October 9, 2011, it was our mission Sunday. The preacher preached from John 8:1-11, the adulterous woman. The point of the message was on building healthy relationships in our society. Kihomi was asked to offer a mission prayer at the end of the message.

Prior to the message, we listened to Dr. Jacques Saintelus, an expert on dealing with animals. He came to teach us about the measures to take once you are bitten by a dog. In fact, enraged dogs have been biting people in many parts of the country. Not far from our community and within walking distance, a lady was killed by the dog bite. As a church, we need to prepare our people for this new crisis.

This rabies disease means among other things that Kihomi has no rest at all. She has already started gathering books to learn more about dog and animal bites to help teach prevention and treatment as she goes along visiting churches.

Please be praying for us as we don't know which dog is dangerous and which one is not. We have so many wild dogs among us.

Yours in Haiti,

Nzunga & Kihomi

Dear Friends,

Please pray for strength for Kihomi as she tirelessly travels and trains her women’s groups to combat the many ills that plague Haiti.  Her Community Health Evangelism program springs into action as each threat arises in Haiti.  It seems never ending from the many water born diseases such as cholera, natural disasters and now a rabies epidemic.

When you support her with your money and prayer you are traveling with her and saving lives plus bringing the comfort of knowing Jesus in this land of sorrow.

Prayerfully,
