On May 18^th Kihomi was in Romeo meeting with a group of women from 12 churches in that region. Romeo is on high way going to Ouanaminthe, the border city. The goal of this rally was to study how women can avoid becoming victims of pregnancies when we know that every minute a woman dies from pregnancy complications.  Over 100 women attended the rally and will spread the teaching in their churches.

All the experts agree that one of the main keys to overcoming poverty is educating the women.  When educated their status rises in their families and their society.  They tend to have less children and take better care of those they do have.
