Dear Loved
Ones,
Greeting. This Wednesday May 22, 2012 was a big day for Rodeline Jean who
successfully defended her thesis for a Bachelor degree in Business
Administration. Rodeline lost her father early in her life. She only knows her
mother with two younger sisters. Life has been a struggle for the entire family
of 4. Since Rodeline Jean came to our university four ago now, we have been
helping her financially. Kihomi has taken her on her shoulder to coach her with
other young girls.
On June 1st, Rodeline will graduate becoming the hope of her mother if she can
find some work.
We praise God for the support many of you have provided for the training of
young girls who would otherwise be on the street.
Let us pray that Rodeline can be an example and an encouragement to many other
girls who are struggling in life.
Yours,
Nzunga & Kihomi
Dear Friends,
“When you educate a man you educate an individual; when you educate a woman
you educate a whole family" [Charles
D. McIver] " …Studies have proven that she is 3 times less likely to
contract HIV/Aids, earn 25% more, have a smaller , healthier family. This is just one of the many successes
Kihomi has had mentoring young girls and spreading God’s love to their families
and villages. This is a gift that keeps
on giving.
